The Njemps, also known as Ilchamus, are a Maa-speaking community living around Lake Baringo in Kenya. Though culturally related to the Samburu and Maasai, they have historically adopted agro-pastoral and fishing livelihoods. Social organization is patrilineal and integrated into Maa age-set systems.
